Start your 2026 wellbeing journey with us. The Health and Wellbeing team are holding a coffee morning for people to explore the health and leisure services available in our city.

Whether you are looking to manage chronic pain, increase your physical activity, or simply connect with your community, our Health and Wellbeing coaches will be on hand to guide you.
 

Schedule for the day:

11am: Arrival. Join us for coffee, tea, and a chance to settle in.

11:10am: Welcome and introduction. An overview of today’s session and our goals for the community.

11:15am: The interactive quiz. A fun ice-breaker in small groups.

11:30am: Exercise: Facts and myths. A look at the types of exercise that matter most, the benefits of staying active, and busting common fitness myths.

11:50am: Seated yoga and movement taster. A gentle, practical session featuring seated exercises and yoga suitable for all abilities.

12:10pmSupport overview. Brief introductions to our Health and Wellbeing memberships, Escape-Pain, and weight management programmes.

12:20pm: Choose a station to visit for more information and demonstrations:

  • Main studio: Escape-Pain and weight management support.

  • Spin studio: ‘Good Boost’ interactive tablet demonstrations.

  • Consultation area: Stop smoking services and advice.

12:45pm: A Personal Journey. Guest speaker Barbra shares her experience and the benefits she has gained from our classes.

12:50pm: Q&A and final thoughts. Your chance to ask the team any remaining questions.
