Sports Court Booking Policy

1. Purpose

This policy sets out the rules for booking and using sports courts and the Dimensions 3G pitch. It is intended to provide fair access, support safe use and ensure a positive experience for all customers.

2. Eligibility

  • Sports courts may be booked by Members and Non-members, subject to the booking and payment rules below.

3. Booking duration

  • Each booking provides a minimum of 50 minutes of guaranteed playing time to allow for changeovers between sessions.

4. Member booking rules

  • Members may book courts up to 48 hours in advance.
  • Racket-sport court hire is free only when all players are Members.
  • If a Non-member joins a Member's racket-sport booking, the discounted Member court fee must be paid.
  • Members must not:
    • Book two courts at the same time free of charge or at the discounted Member rate.
    • Book one free court and one discounted court at the same time.
  • Members may book courts back-to-back for consecutive sessions.
  • Where multiple racket-sport courts are booked for the same time, at least one court must be paid for at full price.
  • All Members must present their membership card at reception so their attendance can be recorded for access and emergency evacuation purposes.
  • Failure to present a valid membership card may result in the loss of free-court booking privileges.

5. Non-member booking rules

  • Non-members must pay in full at the time of booking.
  • Bookings may be made up to one week in advance.
  • Non-members may book with other Non-members or join a Member's session; the applicable Member fee conditions will apply.

6. Attendance and cancellations

  • The person who made the booking must attend and be present to validate it.
  • Only the person who made the booking may cancel it.
  • Failure to follow the cancellation procedure may affect future booking privileges.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the booking start time. Later cancellations will be charged in full.

7. General off-peak pricing

  • Off-peak rates apply to casual bookings only.
  • Bookings may be made no more than one week in advance. Block bookings are not eligible for the off-peak rate.
  • A booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received.
  • Off-peak hours are Monday to Thursday, 7am-4pm, and Friday to Sunday, 7am-7pm.

8. Dimensions 3G Pitch off-peak use

  • The Dimensions 3G pitch off-peak rate applies to casual five-a-side and seven-a-side football bookings only.
  • Bookings may be made no more than one week in advance.
  • Affiliation rates and discounts do not apply. Organised fixtures, league matches and other match play are excluded.
  • Off-peak hours are: Monday to Thursday, 9am-5pm; Friday, 9am-8pm; and Saturday and Sunday, 9am-6pm.

9. Compliance

All customers must comply with this policy and any site instructions. The facility may refuse or revoke booking privileges, or take further action, where misuse, false bookings or non-compliance is identified.
