There’s never been a better time to get the kids off their screens, step into the sunshine, and get active as a family.

On Sunday 26 July, Hanley Park is playing host to the Barclays Big Tennis Weekend, a completely free community event designed to get the whole family moving.

Whether you have a future star in the making or have never played, this event is built for absolutely everyone, regardless of age, gender, or experience.

Everything is handled, just show up

One of the biggest barriers to trying a new sport is getting the right gear. We’ve got that covered. Thanks to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) and Barclays, all equipment is completely provided. You don't need to own a racket or have a stash of tennis balls, just show up in a pair of trainers and you're good to go.

Friendly, qualified coach will be on the courts ready to help.
