Noreen’s Recovery Lounge Now Open
Noreen’s Recovery Lounge Now Open
Stoke-on-Trent’s Community Drug and Alcohol Service (CDAS), which is delivered by BAC O’Connor and WithYou, has taken on the operation of the Centre’s café which was formerly branded as Riptide, after being commissioned by Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
Now available after a recent refurbishment, this welcoming space is newly named “Noreen’s Recovery Lounge”, and is open to anyone and everyone visiting the Centre:
- Thursday and Friday: 10am – 8pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 8.30am – 6.30pm
Providing freshly cooked, healthy and great value meals, Noreen’s Recovery Lounge is the perfect place to drop in for a bite to eat when attending a special event or recovering from a class, workout or swim, either alone or with your family, friends, teammates, or classmates. Everyone is welcome.
The Lounge is not an ordinary café. It is run as a social enterprise, providing work experience, training and employment opportunities for people in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
It’s truly a beacon of hope and is a special place for local communities and groups to come together, embrace recovery in all of its forms, and enjoy a relaxing moment of rest away from the busyness of life.
We look forward to welcoming you.
