City’s sports facilities continue to grow with more padel courts
Exclusive Padel discounts launched for Active Stoke Members as the game continues to grow in the city.
More padel facilities will soon be offered in Stoke-on-Trent at Fenton Manor Sports Complex as the game continues to grow in the city.
Working in partnership with Ace Padel, a new padel court will open at Fenton Manor Sport Complex in October 2026 to add to the wide range of facilities the city’s leisure services offer.
Councillor Jane Ashworth, leader of Stoke-on-Trent City Council, said: “Padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK and, with the successful opening in Cobridge, it’s important we seize on this momentum and make sure our residents have access to these facilities.
“What’s great about Ace Padel and the work they do is that they make the sport accessible – whether you’re a beginner or experienced, old or young, everyone is welcome to play. I encourage residents looking to get involved in physical activity to give it go and enjoy the social and health benefits playing padel brings.”
The initiative builds on the success of Ace Padel’s flagship venue in Cobridge, which opened in late 2025. With venues active in Cobridge and Milton, the addition of Fenton Manor establishes a city-wide network designed to make the UK's fastest-growing sport accessible to all local residents.
Exclusive Active Stoke Member Discounts
Active Stoke members can access fixed off-peak rates during designated hours:
Ace Padel Fenton Manor
- Ace Padel Fenton Manor: £24 per hour (reduced from £28) during off-peak hours (7am-3pm)
Ace Padel Cobridge
- £28 per hour (reduced from £36) during off-peak hours (9am-4pm)
- Over-60s Special (Cobridge): £20 per hour (reduced from £36) during off-peak hours (9am-4pm), which includes a free hot drink.
Ace Padel Milton
- £16 per hour (reduced from £20) during off-peak hours (7am-3pm
To claim these discounts, Active Stoke members must visit the Ace Padel Cobridge site in person with their membership card to set up and verify their account.
