The International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) 5-week course offers a relaxed, baby-led environment for parents and infants (newborn to 12 months) to connect through touch.

We are excited to announce our IAIM 5-week baby massage course will be starting soon.
The sessions are really relaxed and are all baby led. Everyone is welcome, babies aged newborn-12 months.
Baby massage can help soothe your little one, support better sleep, ease colic, wind and strengthen the special connection between you and your baby.

The 5-week course will be week commencing Monday 11 May at the following centres:
Fenton Manor Sports Complex: Tuesday 12 May, 10:30-11:30am.
The Wallace Sports Centre: Wednesday 13 May, 11am-12pm.
Dimensions Leisure Centre: Thursday 14 May, 1-2pm.
The cost for 5 weeks is £45.00.
Booking can be done by phone or in person at the reception of the relevant centre, you will receive a confirmation email with information of things you will need to bring for the course.
'Baby massage is a longstanding parenting tradition in many cultures, including Indian and African, and was introduced to the western world during the last 30 years, gaining in popularity in the UK since the late 1990’s.
Baby massage is when a parent or primary carer lovingly strokes or holds their baby. Using a high quality non-fragranced vegetable oil, soothing holds and rhythmic strokes are given on each area of baby’s body, following a sequence that has been developed over many years. The massage offers a wonderful experience and a special time to communicate both verbally and non-verbally with babies, so that they feel loved, valued and respected.
The IAIM baby massage course draws from both the Indian and Swedish massage traditions, as well as incorporating principles from yoga and reflexology.'
