Cardholders are subject to standard facility availability, site operating conditions and accepted methods of payment.
Discount cards are issued for personal use only and cannot be transferred to another individual.
Applicants must meet at least one approved eligibility category to qualify for the scheme.
The Active Lifestyle Discount Card is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Eligibility must be re‑verified at each renewal.
Lost or damaged cards may be replaced at the discretion of Active Stoke. A small administrative fee may apply.
One carer may accompany a person with a disability free of charge when providing essential care and support. The cardholder must present valid proof of entitlement, such as a recognised Carer’s Card or an Access Card displaying the “+1” symbol, at the point of entry.
Discounts, booking arrangements, and opening hours may differ across participating centres. Cardholders should check details directly with each site.
Active Stoke reserves the right to amend or introduce new fees, charges, or facility availability without prior notice.
Concessionary rates apply only upon presentation of a valid Active Stoke – Active Lifestyle Discount Card.
Cardholders must notify an Active Stoke centre of any change of address or change in eligibility status, to maintain accurate records.
No refunds will be issued for cancelled memberships, whether initiated by the Council or the cardholder.
Active Stoke reserves the right to refuse the issue of a discount card and/or admission to facilities.
Misuse of the discount card, including attempted use by anyone other than the named cardholder, may result in withdrawal of the card and refusal of future applications.
Active Stoke may amend the offers, benefits, or terms and conditions associated with the discount card scheme at any time.
