Friday 10 October, is World Mental Health Day, and this year's theme highlights the impact of constant exposure to news coverage of crises and conflicts on our mental health. Taking time for self-care is more important than ever.

Did you know that talking is a powerful tool for good mental health?

Dimensions Leisure Centre is proud to be part of the New Brew Crew Café network, a fantastic initiative to combat loneliness. Stop by for a brew and a chat in a welcoming, non-judgemental space.

The Brew Crew Café motto is simple: "A community of cafes united to combat loneliness, one orange heart at a time."

You can also enjoy a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere at Noreen’s Recovery Lounge, serving freshly cooked, healthy, and great value meals, located within Fenton Manor Leisure Centre.

The Lounge is more than just a café—it's a vital social enterprise. It provides crucial work experience, training, and employment opportunities for people in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. It is truly a beacon of hope and a special place for local communities to come together, embrace recovery in all its forms, and enjoy a moment of rest away from the busyness of life.
